29.01.2008: VFLI new partner of the European Bulls

Gap for rail traffic in France finally closed

During an extraordinary board meeting of the European Bulls Freight Alliance (EB) in Vienna on 29th January 2008, it was decided that VFLI, a private French railway operator, will join the European Bulls with immediate effect.

This will finally close the gap for rail traffic of the Alliance between Germany, Switzerland and Italy to France and Spain. This success will help to create also more traffic on rail between Germany and France, where the Alliance sees a great potential for improvement of the current situation. The members are very pleased to welcome VFLI in the Alliance.

With this development, the Alliance is now able to provide rail services for its customers throughout Europe.

European Bulls is an alliance of seven European rail freight companies from Austria, the Czech Republic, France, Germany, Italy, Poland and Spain. Its main aim is to enable each member to provide safe, reliable, top-quality and customer-oriented rail freight services throughout Europe, ensuring that the rail sector continues to develop as a genuine alternative to road.
